Fix and rescue

For software you already have, and do not trust.

The agency went quiet, the build stalled, or something built quickly with AI tools has started to creak. Before anyone quotes to fix it, find out what you actually have.

Sound familiar?

Which of these is yours?

"The agency stopped replying."

And the domain, the hosting and the code are all still in their name.

"Nobody knows how it works."

The developer who built it has moved on, and every change is a guess.

"We built it with AI tools."

It worked in the demo. Real customers are a different matter.

Where to start

Find out what you have, before anyone quotes to fix it.

Two small, fixed pieces of work. Neither commits you to anything after it.

Second opinion

£950

A written review of the software you already have. Yours to keep, whoever does the work.

What you get

  • Who controls what. Every account it depends on, in whose name, and who can get in today.
  • Its state, in plain English. What works, what is fragile and what is missing.
  • The options, costed. Finish, fix or replace, each with a rough cost and timescale.
  • A live walkthrough of all of it, 30 minutes.

Get your keys back

£350

Recovering control of your domain, hosting, code repository and admin accounts from a previous supplier.

What you get

  • Accounts moved into your name, wherever the provider and the old supplier allow it.
  • A written account of what was recovered, what was not, and where everything now sits.
  • The next step for anything still outstanding.

How much comes back depends partly on the old supplier, so the fee covers the work, not a promised outcome.

Then, if it needs it

Fixing it properly.

Quoted individually, once the second opinion says what is needed. By us, or by anyone you choose.

Project rescue

Finishing or stabilising a build another supplier left behind.

Rescue for AI-built software

Taking an app built with AI tools and making it fit for real customers, with code another engineer can pick up.

Modernisation

Moving an old system off something that is no longer supported.

Accessibility and speed fixes

Bringing a site up to WCAG 2.2 AA and fixing slow pages.

Said plainly

What we will not claim.

It is not a security test

We read what is there and point out the obvious risks we see. We do not scan or probe anything, we hold no security accreditation, and we never call a review a penetration test. If that is what you need, we will say so on the first call.

Nothing opened without your written go-ahead

Before we look at anything live, you sign a short authorisation naming each system. We work read-only, through your own logins, never the old supplier's.

The review is yours

It is written for you, not as a sales document. Take it to any supplier you like.

No promises about the old supplier

Getting access back depends partly on them. The fee covers the work and a written account of what came back, not a guaranteed outcome.

Find out what you actually have.

Tell us what is going on, in your own words. You get a straight answer within one working day, including when the answer is that it is fine as it is.
